SAMBAL ANCHOVIES
Serves 2-4
(Prep.time 15 mins)
Ingredients:
Sambal chili sauce (1 bowl 350g)
1 onion (sliced)
Anchovies (½bowl)
2 tablespoon of sugar
To make it:
Heat up oil in a wok.
Deep fry anchovies over low heat until crispy.
Remove and set aside.
Reserve 4 tablespoon of oil in the same wok and stir fry onion until softened.
Add sambal chili sauce and stir fry until boiling.
Switch to low heat and simmer until the colour darkens.
Add anchovies and stir well.
Add sugar and stir well.
