PICKLED MUSTARD GREEN
Serves 4-6
(Prep.time 60 mins)
Ingredients:
1000g of mustard green
300g of roasted pork
2 pieces of whole garlic (with skin intact)
5 pieces of dried chills
5 pieces of tamarind slice
2 bowl of water
Salt
To make it:
Rinse and soak the mustard green for about 10 minutes and cut it into sections.
Heat up 2 tablespoon of oil and stir-fry the whole garlic and roasted pork till fragrant.
Pour 2 bowl of water in the deep pot and bring to a boil over high heat and add in the whole garlic and roasted pork for 10 minutes.
Add in mustard green and dried chillies, and cook over high heat for another 30 minutes. Season with the adequate of salt.
Add in tamarind slice and stir well, cover with lid and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. Dish up.
