PICKLED MUSTARD GREEN

Serves 4-6
(Prep.time 60 mins)

Ingredients:

  • 1000g of mustard green

  • 300g of roasted pork

  • 2 pieces of whole garlic (with skin intact)

  • 5 pieces of dried chills

  • 5 pieces of tamarind slice

  • 2 bowl of water

  • Salt


To make it:

  • Rinse and soak the mustard green for about 10 minutes and cut it into sections.

  • Heat up 2 tablespoon of oil and stir-fry the whole garlic and roasted pork till fragrant.

  • Pour 2 bowl of water in the deep pot and bring to a boil over high heat and add in the whole garlic and roasted pork for 10 minutes.

  • Add in mustard green and dried chillies, and cook over high heat for another 30 minutes. Season with the adequate of salt.

  • Add in tamarind slice and stir well, cover with lid and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. Dish up.
