HOT & SOUR SAUCE FRIED KAMPUNG FISH

Serves 2-4         
(Prep. time 30 mins)

Ingredients:                                  

  • 3-4 kampung fish

  • Salt & pepper powder

  •  Sauce ingredients (mixed well)

       - 8-10 shallots (chopped)

       - 4-5 pips garlic (chopped)

       - 4-6 calamansi lime (squeezed)

       - 2 teaspoon of sugar

       - 1 teaspoon of fish sauce

       - Some bird’s eye chilies

 

To make it:

  • Make some scores on the fish.

  • Rub the fish with salt and pepper powder.

  • Heat up 4 teaspoon of oil in a wok.

  • Shallow fry fish until golden brown.

  • Pour sauce ingredients on the fish.
